Subdivision up for sale in rapid growing urban corridor

By Liam O'Boyle

Just a stones throw from the Gatton CBD, a residential development site at 352 Gold Links Drive and Lot 2 Woodlands Road is up for sale.

The 198ha subdivision is part of the Woodlands Rise estate and is approved for 69 residential lots.

Ray White Commercial Gold Coast director Greg Bell said the site presented the perfect opportunity to invest in an established and growing regional centre.

“This is a rare opportunity to create a master planned estate in one of Australia’s fastest growing urban corridors,” Mr Bell said.

“There is a need to create some 10,000 new detached homes each year across the region over the next five years, however, given the current town planning constraints there are not enough large development sites to cater for this demand.

“The local housing market is undersupplied, with the residential vacancy rate falling to under 1 per cent and weekly rents for detached housing increasing sharply in recent years.”

The property is up for sale via expression of interest, closing at 4pm on October 14.
