Where are our best tourist park attractions?

By Greg Bell

While the Gold Coast is renowned for its high-end metropolitan lifestyle, winding riverside precincts and gasp-worthy coastline, our tourist parks are also a hot attraction for many people who visit the region. They offer serenity and family-friendly relaxation for those who visit, and are a worthwhile focus for those interested in retail leasing on the Gold Coast.

Securing a location for your business in the vicinity of any one of our tourist parks could be a profitable move, giving you access to that all-valuable tourist dollar. We're not the only ones who gush about these parks either – notable travel website TripAdvisor has awarded certificates of excellence to six of them!

These prizes are dished out to locations praised by reviewers for how clean they are, where they are situated, the quality of customer service, and overall value to the consumer. You also have to have a minimum average rating of four out of five stars just to qualify, so these parks really are top of the line. So which spots have made the cut?

Broadwater Tourist Park

Perched right on the banks of the water and in between Mitchell and Len Fox Parks, this attraction is almost within arms reach of destinations like SeaWorld, and comes with a tennis court and pool. You're also practically on the doorstep of Surfers Paradise Beach – more prime areas for commercial real estate on the Gold Coast.

Kirra Beach Tourist Park

Down in Coolangatta, this accommodation hub provides unbroken access to the Kirra Reef and the gorgeous walk along Pacific Parade. It's also right in the corner of our state – barely metres from the New South Wales border! It's also in very close proximity to the Gold Coast Airport, which is yet another hub to focus on when people want to seek out commercial property for sale.

Main Beach Tourist Park

The close neighbour of Surfers Paradise, Main Beach is another thriving and stunning skyline within metres of the sand and water. It's perfect for visitors who enjoy getting up and heading straight out to the water, or who want the lapping waves to lull them to sleep.

It's also right beside some of the busiest metropolitan centres on the Gold Coast, and as such is perfect for commercial real estate expansion.

Ocean Beach Tourist Park

Another great place for visitors who want to stay reefside, Ocean Beach Tourist Park also offers the unique holidaying aspect of staying on the Miami Bushland Reserve's fringe – on a cliff face! It's also a haven for smaller trendy coffee shops and fashion outlets, making it a great area for small businesses wanting to expand with a new chance for retail leasing on the Gold Coast.

South Stradbroke Island

A large wildlife reserve, separate from the mainland and barely a hop, skip and jump from the city centre – South Stradbroke Island is an incredible getaway destination for families and thrillseekers. While commercial real estate for sale on the Gold Coast is less prevalent in this area, it could still be a target for the canny investor.

Tallebudgera Creek Tourist Park

TripAdvisor itself notes that this park is for those who take to the water like ducks, with beaches and estuaries all around. It is located near the Burleigh Heads National Park, offering greener pastures as well.

These parks provide an excellent snapshot of  the variety of adventures and lifestyles found in our region, and the audiences that can be targeted when you buy commercial real estate on the Gold Coast. The next step is deciding what you want to buy, and where you want to do it. That's where Ray White Surfers Paradise can be of service.
