Former Gold Coast Bulletin Site Sold

The former site of the Gold Coast Bulletin newspaper at Molendinar has been sold to Retail Food Group by Ray White Industrial Gold Coast.

The News Limited owned properties at 4 Industrial Avenue, Molendinar, and 385 Southport-Nerang Road, Molendinar, were sold following an Offers to Purchase campaign by Steve Macgregor, Kris Sonter and Martin Trautmann of Ray White Industrial Gold Coast.

Steve Macgregor said there was a high level of enquiry during the marketing campaign for the properties, which were sold for an undisclosed sum.

“We had strong interest from a variety of potential purchases during an extensive marketing campaign,” he said.

Kris Sonter said the property at 385 Southport-Nerang Rd comprised three main buildings with a total floor area of approximately 5,515 sqm situated on a total land area of 17,740 sqm.

“The property predominantly comprised office space split over two levels as well as a warehouse component,” he said.

“The site included a large bitumen hardstand area at the rear while there was approximately 150 sqm fronting Southport-Nerang Rd.”

Steve Macgregor said 4 Industrial Ave was an approximately 6,212 sqm freehold site with a large industrial / commercial building.

“No expense was spared when constructing this impressive property which previously operated as a printing press,” he said.

“There was also a substantial power upgrade and infrastructure in place on the site plus plenty of parking space.”
